Watch: First ever sign language rap battle

Jimmy Kimmel has launched the supposedly first televised sign language rap battle in history.

The US talk show host invited rapper Wiz Khalifa and three of the nation’s top sign language interpreters to his show.

Khalifa revealed that he had worked with a language interpreter before, joking, “Sometimes I get pretty stoned (and) I can’t remember the words.”

The three interpreters threw down their dirty routines – expletives and all – while Khalifa delivered his hit Black & Yellow. The rap battle wasn’t their first journey into hip hop, between them they have worked with the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg and Eminem.

They also showed some mean dance moves that made sure this event became one of the most unique rap battle we’ve seen for a while.

Who do you think should have won
