Trailer to Angelina Jolie’s film Unbroken

In a special preview aired during the Winter Olympics in the US, American TV journalist Tom Brokaw narrates former Olympian Louis Zamperini’s story of survival, which inspired Angelina Jolie’s latest directorial effort, Unbroken.

A combination of new film footage, an interview with Louis, and archived content, the video provides an emotional account of how Louis hung on to life in a raft for 47 days after a plane crash in World War II.

Zamperini was later caught by the Japanese Navy, but lived to tell his story.

The movie was shot in Australia and its release is slated for Boxing Day 2014.
