Lorde’s Grammy dancing has everyone talking

Lorde has set the internet ablaze with her performance at the Grammy Awards – not just with her singing, but also with her dancing.

After Beyonce and Jay Z opened the 56th Grammy Awards with a sexually overt performance, Lorde took to the stage with a stripped down version of her hit song Royals.

The teenager’s performance was widely praised on social media, with some commenting she was better than Beyonce.

Lorde’s performance was followed by Katy Perry singing Dark Horse, which started inside a crystal ball and ended with her standing in front of a fire.

Perry’s performance had Twitter users comparing her to Harry Potter character Bellatrix Lestrange, Disney villains, and wondering whether Tim Burton produced the night’s awards.

Lorde is nominated for song of the year, record of the year, best pop solo performance, and best pop vocal album.
