Last weekend in Lafayette, LA police arrested Carl Jacquneaux for allegedly biting a chunk out of his neighbors face while he mowed the lawn.

Unlike the cannibal attack in Miami, Jacquneaux new his victim. Todd Credeur is married to his attacker’s ex-wife. Apparently Jacquneaux became angry while talking to his ex about their son and then proceeded outside to confront her new husband.

Credeur was surprised by the attack and fought off the assailant with a can of wasp poison. Jacuneaux was apprehended when he went to another neighbor’s house and forcibly took his firearm.

Jacuneaux was arrested and booked, but the police did not obtain a blood sample to be used for drug screening. Friends of the arrested man suspected he may have been using new-to-the-scene methamphetamines called bath salts. Bath salts are suspected to be a contributing factor in many of the bizzare violent crimes now being committed throughout the US and Canada.

Todd Credeur was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital to recover at home. Carl Jacuneaux remains behind bars where bail is set at $350,000.
