Sage Stallone’s Cause of Death Revealed

Sage Stallone’s, the son of Sylvester Stallone,  cause of death has been the subject of scrutiny and investigation since he was found dead in mid July.

Coroner Chief Craig Harvey told the Los Angeles Times that Stallone died of natural causes and the toxicology test came back “negative except for a sub-therapeutic level of hydrocodone,” — though the drug played no role in his death.

Coroner Chief Craig Harvey said Sage Stallone had a history of being a heavy smoker, but his family said the amount had diminished lately. He was most recently smoking an electric cigarette.

The coroner declared death by natural causes and the toxicology test came back “negative except for  a sub-therapeutic level of hydrocodone.” Harvey said the drug played no role in his death.
