Robbie Rakete joins the Wiggles


The newest adult getting his wiggle on in the name of children’s entertainment is one of our own.

Radio personality Robbie Rakete will become the “Brown Wiggle” in the popular children’s group, The Wiggles. He is the first New Zealander to be involved with the group.

Rakete first became involved with the group known for hits such as Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car, when his co-host on the Breakfast show on The Breeze, Robert Scott, suggested he join them on stage during their Auckland show last year.

While originally said on-air as a joke, Anthony Field – the only remaining original member of the group
