Our best LGBT moments on screen

To mark Auckland’s Pride Festival this month, NZ On Screen has launched a special LGBT collection on the website.

The curated collection of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender themed titles features several significant gay dramas, including A Death in the Family, made by Peter Wells and Stewart Main in 1986, and acknowledged as New Zealand’s first drama about Aids.

Also written by Wells, the one-off drama Jewel’s Darl, from the About Face series, is another title in the collection.
