Lady Gaga Launches “Body Revolution 2013”

Lady Gaga was under attack since her pictures hit the internet this month and admitting gaining over 25 pounds but instead of being sorry for herself she owns her image and fights back the haters in her own way.

She recently revealed that she has been dealing with anorexia and blumia since she was 15.

MTV News reported that on Tuesday she launched a page titled A Body Revolution 2013 on her Little Monsters site, encouraging fans to embrace and share their flaws.

“My mother and I created the BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION for one reason: “to inspire bravery,” Gaga said on the site. “This profile is an extension of that dream. Be brave and celebrate with us your ‘perceived flaws,’ as society tells us. May we make our flaws famous, and thus redefine the heinous.” In another post, the singer wrote, “Now that the body revolution has begun, be brave and post a photo of you that celebrates your triumph over insecurities.”

Mother Monster was the first to upload photos. In the first of four pictures, she stands in just a yellow bra and underwear with a revealing caption: “Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15.”

In the next one, Gaga has her arms outstretched showing off her figure, and this caption is written underneath: “But today I join the BODY REVOLUTION.”

In the third photo, Gaga is in a similar position but with arms over her head. The description reads “to inspire bravery.”  She poses in a thong with her backside to the camera in the final pic, adding the message, “and BREED some M$therf*cking COMPASSION.”

Fans have already flooded the site with personal photos, which Gaga herself has been captioning. In one, a fan is looking at herself in the mirror with her stomach exposed. “Emily Rose recovering from anorexia. We support your bravery and have compassion for your pain,” Gaga wrote encouragingly. “(and huh gUUrl, you don’t need to diet ur FINE AS HELL.)”
