Drunk teen bites family bulldog; bulldog returns favor

Dog bites a man? Not news. Man bites dog? Toss-up. Drunk woman bites family dog and dog bites back? That’s a story. A suburban Chicago woman faces multiple charges after a night of drinking ended with her attacking her mother and biting her family’s English bulldog. Police say 19-year-old Analise Garner returned home early Sunday morning, hit and scratched her mother, then bit the dog three times on its back, leaving visible puncture wounds. Garner was charged with animal cruelty, domestic violence and underage drinking. And what of the dog? Said a police sergeant, “The bulldog finally did bite her back in self-defense. There were no charges against the dog.” Heh, nice one, Sarge.
