I am sure that you all know the song “Sexy I know It” by LMFAO. By I don’t think that you have ever heard this version.
Noah Guthrie is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter from South Carolina. This young talent has been covering songs for some time but his newly fame came right after he posted this video on YouTube.
His version of LMFAO’s hit single got 200,000 views overnight. He went to bed as a regular teenager but when Noah woke up the next morning he was all over the internet.
Noah describes himself on his YouTube page as an, “…18 year old singer/songwriter from South Carolina. I love all kinds of music but most of what I write is pretty organic. I’m not into a lot of effects and tricks. Just good melodies and lyrics with something to say.”
He starts out the beginning of the video by saying, “This time it’s something a little different that what I normally do… it’s a lot different from the original version of it.” He continues, “It’s happening, I’m doing it, I’m playing it.”
This soulful version of the song racked up 2.5 million hits over the weekend, which led to an appearance on the Today Show
