Devil Baby haunts New Yorkers

A remote-controlled “Devil Baby” has scared the Bejeesus out of unsuspecting New Yorkers.

The stunt is part of a viral marketing campaign for upcoming horror movie Devil’s Due, slated to debut in the US this week and in New Zealand in March.

The YouTube video shows the demon baby roaming the streets of New York in a pram.

When passersby approach the tod with the blood-shot eyes and unhealthy completion rises up and leaves them startled.

The reactions are priceless, though, as with any viral video, there’s a good chance that they’re also staged, Mashable reports.

The Devil Baby follows another YouTube shocker, where the creators of the classic horror flick Carrie staged a telekinetic prank in a coffee shop as promotion for their new remake.
