Channing Tatum reveals baby name

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum have called their baby Everly.

The actress gave birth to the couple’s first child in London on Friday.

It’s now been confirmed their new arrival is a girl and already has a name.

“Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31st in London. Sending love and light to Chan, Jenna, and Ms. Everly!” a statement on Channing’s official website reads.

The new parents were last spotted shortly before the birth, walking their pet dogs in the British city.

Tatum’s White House Down co-star Jamie Foxx was quick to congratulate the pair on Sunday.

“Big luv 2 my @WHD costar @channingtatum + wife @jennaldewan + their new baby. Welcome 2 the world little Tatum. (sic)” he posted on Twitter.

Tatum and his wife announced they were expecting a baby in December.

They have been married for almost four years and decided to have the child in London as Tatum is working on the movie Jupiter Ascending there.

In a recent interview with America’s Glamour magazine, Dewan-Tatum revealed she and her beau were ready for their first child.

“I thought my body was going to change so quickly with pregnancy that I’d freak out. But it was really gradual. There’s a reason women are pregnant for nine months; by the end, you’re ready to have this baby,” she smiled.

“Channing has been great. He takes the route of no confrontation, just support, saying things like, ‘Do whatever you want! What do you want to eat I’m going to leave it up to you.'”
