Four-story building collapses in Brooklyn

A four-story residential building collapsed Sunday in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, and at least four people suffered minor injuries, according to the New York City Fire Department. The cause of the midday collapse of the building on Myrtle Avenue between Ryerson and Hall streets was not immediately known.

Deputies, suspect dead after shootouts

Two Florida deputies trying to arrest a man wanted in a domestic violence case were shot and killed Saturday by the suspect, who died in a shootout after a car chase into the next county. Deputies Burt Lopez and Warren York traded gunshots with the suspect at about 1 p.m.

Security personnel found Miranda Tozier-Robbins looking through the windows of the singer’s home in Calabasas, California, the department said in a written statement. Tozier-Robbins also had a backpack and video equipment, the statement said.
