An American stand-up comedian’s staging of a grisly celebration of the shark killing of Auckland man Adam Strange at Muriwai Beach last month has offended Kiwis. The Jeselnik Offensive hosted by Anthony Jeselnik had pictures of Adam Strange posted on the set as he staged a “Shark Party” on the pay network Comedy Central

Internet troll group, Facebeef, has made a public mockery of Australian news program Today Tonight after convincing the show to run a bogus cyber bullying story as its lead expose. Watching Borat in Beirut

Whi le it’s not surprising that Lebanese have sought refuge in cinema from the country’s sectarian tensions, it does seem strange that many of them are going to see a movie about, at least in part, sectarian tension in the United States. When it opened on Thanksgiving, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan was the third most watched movie in Lebanon, trailing only such blockbuster fare as Casino Royale.
