Styles denies ‘disgusting’ texts

Harry Styles has denied he sent “disgusting” text messages to a British TV presenter.

The One Direction star is reported to have texted Yvette Fielding at a family meal when he was 16-years-old.

Styles, now 19, was friends with Fielding’s son Will when he went for the meal with the presenter; her husband, and Styles’s mother Anne Cox.

“Harry was sending me disgusting texts from across the table,” Styles, told Woman magazine.

“I can’t even repeat the words, they were so rude!”

Fielding, 44, found fame as host of popular Children’s BBC TV show Blue Peter back in 1987.

A representative for Styles has denied any wrongdoing.

“Harry has never sent any rude or inappropriate text messages to Yvette Fielding,” his spokesman told The Mirror.

Fielding went on to speak fondly of the One Direction star who has a reputation for liking older woman.

When she first met Styles, he had yet to find fame on the X Factor which he entered in 2010.

“In the car I’d put Elvis or Little Richard on and we’d sing along,” remembered Fielding.

“Harry confessed that he wanted to be a singer, but thought he couldn’t make it. I told him to follow his dream.

“He’s a Romeo, he’s very romantic. When there’s a love interest, Harry will go all out to get the girl. He’s totally obsessed.

“I think that’s what Simon Cowell saw in him, the cheeky chappie charm.”

Styles is currently single after splitting with singer Taylor Swift.
