Rihanna’s home gets roof intruder

Rihanna’s resident security guards have detained a man trespassing on her property.

The singer’s private team caught a man wandering around the roof of her Pacific Palisades, California home on Monday.

The unnamed 26-year-old was arrested after 10pm local time and remained in police custody on Tuesday morning, reports TMZ.

Guards allegedly held the intruder until law enforcement officers arrived at the property to take charge of the matter.

Apparently the person had a map of the area in his hands when he was captured, however he insists he was not aware he entered Rihanna’s grounds.

His bail was set at $US2,882 (NZ$3610) for encroaching on the property.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Rihanna wasn’t at home at the time as she is currently on her Diamonds World Tour.

The 25-year-old was playing a concert in Birmingham on Monday evening where she apparently angered audiences by showing up two hours late for her performance.

Rihanna was a victim of the swatting prank at her house in April. A caller to emergency services claimed they heard gunshots inside the star’s home. However it was thought to be part of a wider plot to rob the star.

Additionally, in February Steveland Barrow was arrested and placed under a temporary restraining order after he tried to break into her house.

However he had actually entered the wrong home and went on to sleep in someone else’s bed and apparently stole some of their property.

The man told police that he was invited into the home.
