Prince Jackson: ‘I saw father dying’

Prince Jackson has recalled hearing his sister’s screams as his father lay dying.

Prince, 16, Paris, 15, and Blanket, 11, are the children of late singer Michael Jackson.

The King of Pop passed away on June 25 2009 from acute Propofol intoxication.

Dr. Conrad Murray administered the lethal dose of the anaesthetic and is currently serving a prison sentence for Michael’s involuntary manslaughter.

On Wednesday, Prince took the witness stand during the trial of the wrongful death case brought by the Jackson family against concert promoter AEG Live.

The teenager was the first of Jackson’s three children to speak publicly about the icon’s passing.

Prince described a harrowing experience to the court, which began when he and his siblings heard a scream in the upstairs area of their home.

“I ran upstairs and I saw Dr. Conrad doing CPR on my dad on the bed,” he said. “My dad was hanging halfway off the bed, and his eyes were rolled back in his head.

“My sister was screaming the whole time, saying she wants her daddy. I was waiting at the bottom of the stairs, crying, waiting for the ambulance.”

Prince recalled the doctor telling him and his siblings that their father had suffered a heart attack while they were in the hospital waiting area.

Moments later the former physician broke the news that Jackson had passed away.

“Sorry kids, your dad’s dead,” Prince claims Murray told them.

AEG Live contends it had nothing to do with hiring Conrad Murray and is not responsible for Jackson’s death. The company insists Michael had a long time addiction to prescription drugs and they could never have foreseen the star’s demise.

The trial continues and proceedings are scheduled to end in July.

Prince’s sister Paris is currently receiving treatment after attempting to take her life weeks ago.

Apparently the troubled teen cut herself and tried to overdose on Ibuprofen, as bullying and the pain of her father’s death took its toll.
