Lohan ‘violates rehab deal’

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly violated her rehab deal by flying to California the day before she is scheduled to begin treatment in New York.

The 26-year-old actress has been sentenced to 90 days treatment in connection to a car crash in Los Angeles last year.

According to TMZ, Lohan’s lawyers agreed she would check in to the Seafield Center in New York on Thursday.

The website reports plans have changed at the last moment.

Lohan was reportedly scheduled to board a private jet in New York City on Wednesday night for a cross-country flight.

The actress was apparently upset officials at Seafield would not permit her to smoke and arranged for care at another facility on America’s West Coast.

A source told the outlet Lohan is believed to have arranged for a stay at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, California.

The facility permits patients to smoke.

The actress could be in more legal trouble, however, as prosecutors are not believed to have signed off on the facility.

If neither the Los Angeles City Attorney nor the Santa Monica City Attorney were notified for approval Lohan would be in violation of her plea deal.

The actress’ lawyers are scheduled to attend a court hearing Thursday morning to provide proof of her enrollment at an agreed upon facility.
Lohan could face up to 90 days in jail if she’s found guilty of violating the deal.

The 26-year-old was busy preparing for rehab on Tuesday night and posted a picture of all the clothes she would be taking with her on Instagram.

In the photo, she is seen smiling as she sits cross-legged on the floor surrounded by clothes, shoes and shopping bags.

“90 days and 270 looks,” Lindsay wrote in the accompanying caption.

She did not mention where she would be receiving treatment.
