Klum’s boyfriend saves son from rip

Heidi Klum and her boyfriend saved her seven-year-old son from drowning on Monday.

The 39-year-old model and her son Henry were caught in a riptide along with the family’s two nannies while swimming in Oahu, Hawaii.

Klum spoke to UsWeekly about the terror she felt when she realised the danger her child was in.

“Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely,” Klum said.

The German model is currently on vacation on the island with her family, including Henry and his siblings, eight-year-old Leni, Johan, six, and Lou, three.

Klum shares the children with estranged husband, Seal, who adopted Heidi’s eldest daughter from a previous relationship.

The former couple separated in January 2012 and she filed for divorce three months later, effectively ending their seven-year marriage.

Klum later confirmed she began dating the family’s bodyguard of four years shortly thereafter.

She has previously heaped praise on Kristen for the way he treats her brood.

“I trust him with my children’s life,” she told American talk show host Katie Couric last September.

“He’s a great man and recently we just got to know each other from a completely different side. It just started,” she said.
