Kelleher rumoured to romance princess

Rumours Princess Charlene of Monaco may be cheating on her royal husband with former All Black Byron Kelleher are gathering steam.

Vogue Italia is the latest European publication to publish rumours that placed Princess Charlene with Kelleher two weeks ago, instead of at her husband’s side at the coronation of the new Dutch King Willem-Alexander.

Former Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock’s planned marriage to Monaco’s ruler Prince Albert was in the spotlight even before the pair tied the knot in July last year, when many official photos captured her looking miserable and in a flood of tears.

Prince Albert was also last year under a cloud of suspicion that he had fathered a number of children.

It was reported the South African-born beauty tried to flee Monaco just before the wedding, but was brought back by palace officials who later confiscated her passport.

Dunedin-born Kelleher, 36, is a close friend of both Princess Charlene and her husband Prince Albert II and attended their wedding.

He also heads the rugby arm of the sports-focused Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. He plays for Stade Francais in the French Top 14, and had 57 caps with the All Blacks.

In 2005, while he was still an All Black, Kelleher had a much-publicised relationship with porn star
