Jenner ‘stayed out of baby naming’

Kris Jenner stayed out of naming her granddaughter. The Kardashian matriarch is very much involved in her children’s personal and professional lives.

However she opted to leave daughter Kim Kardashian alone when it came to choosing a moniker for her little girl.
“I stayed out of that one,” she told Huffington Post Live. “I did the same thing with [daughter] Kourtney when she named [her children] Mason and Penelope.”

Jenner revealed that Kim and her rapper boyfriend Kanye West decided on North West for their tot together.

She insisted that keeping suggestions private is the best way to go about it so others don’t influence your decision.

“When a baby’s born and you give it a name and you’re really sure about it . . . that’s just going to be that baby’s energy. So I’m excited,” she shared.

“I think it was a joint decision. That’s what I think. They did it together. Yeah, for sure.”

Jenner added that Kim explained her decision to her parent only once it had been made.

The 57-year-old manager reiterated that she thinks the meaning behind it is a great one.

“Kim sort of explained it to me,” she added. “She said North is the highest power. And their baby North, their little girl, is the highest point and power between the two of them. So I thought that was really cool.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashian star is set to appear on her own talk show.

Jenner premieres in the United States on July 15 and she revealed earlier in the day that plans concerning guests were being kept under wraps.

“I think you’re just going to have to wait and see and tune in, because I’m not sure exactly what’s going happen,” Jenner told the Today show.
