Israeli president discharged from hospital

Israeli President Shimon Peres, 86, fainted during a question-and-answer session after his speech in Tel Aviv.
Israeli President Shimon Peres was released from hospital Sunday, a day after he fainted in Tel Aviv, his office said.

Peres, 86, passed out Saturday evening after giving a speech. He was revived a few moments later and taken to a hospital for further examination, spokeswoman Meital Jaslovitz said at the time. No further details were immediately available.
