George Michael ‘could have died’

George Michael was “lucky he didn’t die” during his recent car crash.

The British singer was airlifted to hospital with a head injury following a motorway accident in the UK last week.

Katherine Fox was driving behind the Range Rover the 49-year-old star was travelling in when she saw him fall out of the passenger door of the vehicle.

She has recalled slamming on her brakes in a desperate attempt to avoid running him over.

“He was lucky he didn’t die,” she told British newspaper The Sun.

“There was a nasty cut on his forehead and the back of his head. There was blood all down his face and on his teeth. He was breathing and conscious but in shock.”

Michael apparently fell from the car into the third lane of the busy motorway. Many drivers had to hit their brakes to avoid running him over.
