From host to coast for Steve Logan


Steve Logan is very excited. There’s a lot going on in the life of the 52-year-old co-founder of Wellington restaurant Logan Brown.

Most dramatically, within days he is about to become a parent again, this time with long-term partner Annette (his two daughters from his first marriage are now adults). He’s also training for a half marathon – something he used to do in his 20s – and playing tennis and touch rugby, all two years after he had a double hip replacement.

At Logan Brown it’s business as usual, with tweaks, after the departure for Auckland of Al Brown, his former business partner. And, not least, Logan is fronting the second season of television series Coasters (the first was hosted by Brown).
