Decortica hit the North Island


Decortica are taking their big riffs around the North Island after a difficult end to 2012.

The Auckland group’s critically acclaimed third album 11811 never quite got the push it deserved when their record label EMI got swallowed up by Universal Music Group.

“Up until recently, it’s been very difficult to promote the album,” says frontman Mathew Bosher.

“The level of uncertainty and distraction certainly impacted the initial release.
