Courtney Love offers Bynes help

Courtney Love urges Amanda Bynes to “ignore the haters”.

The troubled actress was arrested on Thursday night for possession of marijuana, attempted evidence tampering and reckless endangerment. Three days later she accussed a police officer of sexual harassment.

She apparently threw a bong out of the window of her New York City apartment onto the street below.

Bynes has vehemently denied smoking cannabis, claiming she is allergic to it and only smokes tobacco.

The actress also claimed today her lawyer was getting her case dropped.

“There was no proof of sexual harassment or drugs. Instead of me asking for the cop to be arrested for sexual harassment, I want my case dropped as well.

“His punishment will be being the cop who sexually harassed someone who would never find him handsome enough to be my boyfriend. That’s worse than any time in jail.

“But I am suing him for money compensation. I love having more money in my bank!”

After a series of bizarre tweets posted by Bynes after her detainment, Courtney requested via Twitter that the former TV star “pull it together dude”.

Bynes responded defensively tweeting that Love is “the ugliest woman I’ve ever seen”.

Love has had public issues with substance abuse in the past as well and commiserates with Bynes’ plight.

The musician told the actress she supports her in this dark time.

“@AmandaBynes @eonline Amanda, I wasn’t attacking you love. I’ve been in your shoes before, wasn’t easy. DM me, let’s talk. Ignore the haters,” Love wrote on Twitter Tuesday.

Love also requests the public give Bynes a break.

She believes chastising the 27-year-old star is cruel.

Will you people lay off on giving this girl such grief Shes a beautiful talented young woman, we all go through our ups and downs. grow up!

Over the weekend Bynes began a Twitter feud with Rihanna.

She told the Barbadian beauty “@rihanna you look so ugly tryin to be white” before stating she deserved to be assaulted in 2009 by then boyfriend Chris Brown.

The comments were deleted shortly after they were published and Bynes claimed they were planted on her Twiiter account.
