It’s not often you see women in stiletto heels walking over pantless men, or two men dancing while one is wearing roller skates.
But deep inside the hazy world of the the Festival Club – the deceptively large and luscious tent housing some of the more interesting shows in the Auckland Arts Festival – you can witness all this and rather a lot more.
Once you step inside, the only reminders of modern life lie in the occasionally intrusive soundtrack from the bar next door.
