Bus headed to NBA All-Star game strikes LAPD patrol car

A charter bus carrying passengers to the NBA All-Star game clipped a La police patrol vehicle Sunday morning, police mentioned.

Nobody was injured in the crash, but the officer’s patrol automobile sustained minor harm, stated La Police Lt. Jim Gavin.

Gavin stated the officer was driving towards the All-Star sport at Staples Center to present protection Sunday when he made a correct turn from your turn-only lane of Pico Boulevard onto Figueroa Street at about nine: 30 a.m. The bus driver was inside a nearby lane on Pico and created an abrupt appropriate flip, striking the left side of the officer’s patrol automobile, Gavin said.
