Bakery owner tells VP Biden to get his fresh-baked cookies elsewhere

The name of Chris McMurray’s bakery might be Crumb and Get It, but Joe Biden will have to get his cookie fix elsewhere. The vice president wanted to stop at the three-month-old Radford, Va., bakery, but the disgruntled owner told Biden’s entourage ‘thanks, but no thanks.’ McMurray said he disagrees with the Obama administration’s policies, especially the now-infamous remarks about who did (or didn’t) “build that.” Although McMurray won’t have his logo in the background during Biden’s photo ops, the Secret Service did reportedly thank him for taking a stand, then bought a “whole bunch” of baked goods. Sorry, Uncle Joe, that’s the way the cookie crumbles — or, in this case, doesn’t.
