Tyler Sullivan Receives Excuse for Absence from School from The President of The United States

 

Tyler Sullivan, a fifth grade student who missed school last Friday will probably not be in any hot water, this time.

Tyler and his parents were at the Honeywell Plant near Minneapolis to see the President on June 1, 2012. After his speech president Obama took some time meet and speak to some of the guests, that’s when he met Tyler and asked the youngster about school. Tyler then explained to the president that he had to miss the day in order to hear the president’s speech.

President Obama, not wanting the Tyler to have any trouble upon returning to school, wrote him an excuse for his absence.

President Pens Not to Excuse Student From Class

Both Tyler and his parents feel confident that he will not face any consequences for his absence. When asked Tyler said he will not be giving the note to his principle, as he has already framed it and intends to keep it as a memento of meeting the President.
