The First “Dark Knight Rises” Reviews are In

This summer’s highly anticipated movie “The Dark Night Rises” will open to public on Friday but the first reviews are already in. This will be the third movie of the Batman Trilogy which is directed by Christopher Nolan. Nolan took the series 8 years after 1997’s “Batman & Robin” , the family friendly series turned into something dark and haunting by Nolan’s genius.

Well if you are one of the few people that prefers the old quirky, funny, and shiny I must say “Batman movies” with colorful characters end up locked up in a jail then this is definitely not your cup of tea but if you have liked the first two movies by Nolan then you must see the third and the last movie of the trilogy which opens on Friday.

Lets take a look at the couple of reviews:

The Hollywood Reporter called it “big-time Hollywood filmmaking at its most accomplished.” The Playlist says it’s “critically important for America itself.” Predicted Variety, “Global [box-office] domination awaits.”

Canadian critic Bruce Kirkland summed it up in his headline: “‘Dark Knight’ rises to perfect ending.”

“For audiences who want smart storytelling with their adrenaline rush, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ … is as profoundly moving as it is dynamic.”

Chicago Tribune Movie critic; Michael Philips: “Now comes “The Dark Knight Rises,” which makes “The Dark Knight” look like “Dora the Explorer” and is more of a 164-minute anxiety disorder than a movie.”

Time Out London: “a sprawling, epic feast of a movie, stuffed to the gills with side characters, subplots and diversions.”
