Jackson estate says it recovered $5.5 million from ex-advisers

The administrators of Michael Jackson’s estate have filed court papers disclosing they’ve recovered $5.5 million in cash from one of Jackson’s "former financial advisers." They expect to present contracts to the court “within the week” that should add “tens of millions of dollars” to Jackson’s estate, which they said is solvent and worth an estimated $500 million, the documents said.

Elizabeth Taylor tweets about sadness of losing Jackson

Elizabeth Taylor checked out of a Los Angeles hospital "sore, but intact," the actress said in an online message posted Friday evening. ‘No big bust-up’ between Jackson and McCartney

Singer Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson "kind of drifted apart," but there was "no big bust-up" after Jackson bought the Beatles song catalog, McCartney told David Letterman Wednesday. Debbie Rowe’s lawyer: No deal in Jackson case

No deal has been reached between Michael Jackson’s mother and his ex-wife over the custody of the late singer’s children, according to a lawyer in the case. Eric George, who represents Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of Jackson’s two oldest children, said a newspaper report that Rowe had agreed to take $4 million not to challenge Katherine Jackson for custody was “completely false.” Jackson’s lawyer has not responded to requests for comment Tuesday. The Jackson family lawyer said last week that they were working to “privately and amicably resolve” the matter.

Jackson fans to stage impromptu London tribute
