6 die in London high-rise fire

Six people were killed, including three children, when a fire broke out in a high-rise apartment building in south London on Friday afternoon, officials said. The fire started on the fourth floor at 4:30 p.m. then rapidly spread to the 11th floor, eventually engulfing 12 floors and gutting apartments along the way, fire officials said.

MySpace CEO to step down

MySpace CEO Chris DeWolfe will step down as head of the Internet company he helped found about six years ago, MySpace owner News Corporation announced Wednesday. DeWolfe will be a strategic adviser to the company and will continue to serve on the board of MySpace China, according to the statement.
