In the latest twist in the ridiculous life of Justin Bieber the singer has changed his name – on Instagram anyway.
The 19-year-old pop star changed his Instagram name to Bizzle, in what American media suggest is an indication he could be about to embark on a rap career.
Several photos with hip-hop icons such as T.I. and the master of the name change, P. Diddy, accompany the update to the account.
American media also speculated Bieber might be looking for a rebrand to fit his new bad-boy image.
Last month he was arrested and charged with drink driving in the United States, while he was also charged with assault in Canada relating to a December 30 incident where he was accused of repeatedly punching a limousine driver.
Whatever the reason for the change, one person who was unimpressed was UK rapper Lethal Bizzle.
On his Facebook page he posted a photo with the title “Seriously”.
