Rolling Stones postpone tour after L’Wren Scott death

The Rolling Stones have postponed indefinitely their Auckland concert, set for April 5, after the girlfriend of frontman Mick Jagger was found dead in New York.

The group posted the news on their Facebook page this morning:

“The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry and disappointed to announce the postponement of the rest of their 14 ON FIRE tour of Australia and New Zealand following the death of L’Wren Scott,” the band said.

The groups has asked ticketholders keep their tickets until further notice and a new schedule of dates would be advised as soon as possible, via rollingstones.com and frontiertouring.com.
