Miley Cyrus’ parents divorcing

Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng aren’t the only ones heading to Splitsville.

Miley Cyrus’ mother has filed for a divorce three years after she and husband Billy Ray tried to give their marriage another shot.

Tish Cyrus cited “irreconcilable differences” for the reason for ther split, according to TMZ.

Last time around it was Billy Ray Cyrus who filed for a divorce, later dropping the suit in an attempt to work out their problems.

The couple have been married for 19 years and share five children together, including Miley.

Tish Cyrus requested full custody of their youngest child, 13-year-old Noah, offering Billy Ray visitation rights.

She also wants spousal support and for Billy Ray to pay her legal bills.

It appears the rest of the family didn’t see the separation coming.

Miley tweeted soon after the news broke: “@billyraycyrus since your texts and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this.”

The tweet has since been taken down.

A few years ago Billy Ray admitted his relationship with Miley became strained and confessed fame had “destroyed” his family.

However, he expressed his undying love for his family.

“It is very important to me to work on mending my family right now,” he told People at the time.

“[My comments were] explosive, and unintentionally so. My family is the most important thing I have, and we are working together to make sure our future is stronger and healthier.

“It is all a learning process. And we thank everyone for their support and respect of our privacy as we sort through very important family issues.”
