Lindsay Lohan’s Porsche crash story doesn’t add up, police say

Santa Monica prosecutors are considering charges against Lindsay Lohan after police said they have found evidence that she lied when she claimed she was not behind the wheel of a Porsche that collided with a dump truck earlier this year.

Lindsay Lohan is set to be charged with the crime of lying to police after her car accident in June. According to TMZ.com, multiple witnesses are claiming that the Mean Girls star was driving her Porsche when it hit an 18-wheeler truck, even though she told the police that she was not.

Law enforcement sources have reportedly told the website that the case will be filed as a misdemeanor, which could cause pretty huge problems for the actress, the Mirror reported.

Although lots of Lohan’s court drama drew to a close earlier this year, she is still on probation over a jewellery theft case, with the terms stating that she must obey all laws at all times. If the claims are true and Lohan did lie to the police, her probation may be violated and the judge could send her to jail.

It has also been claimed that the actress was found with prescription pills in her purse and boot of her car following the accident on the Pacific Coast Highway, but she avoided drugs charges after her lawyer proved that the medication was properly prescribed by the doctor.
