Kate Middleton Smiles as She’s Greeted by Topless Women in The Solomon Islands

Prince William and wife Kate were confronted by topless dancers today who presented them with necklaces as they visited the Solomon Islands. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge smiled and giggled during an action packed day on their royal tour.

Couple’s Trip to the Solomon Islands

The couple looked relaxed as they sailed on a war canoe, watched traditional dancers and fun-loving Wills even took part in a football game.

They were taking part in a cultural village exhibition in Honiara, capital of the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific, and did not bat an eyelid when they came face to face with a group of topless dancers.

The visits came as the pair were set to launch criminal proceedings against the Closer photographer that took long-lense snaps of the Duchess sunbathing topless.

Confirming the Couple Launched Legal Complaints Against French Magazine

Their appearance came as St James’s Palace confirmed that a criminal complaint over the photographs had been lodged, with a civil case seeking damages and an injunction preventing further publication due to be launched later in Paris.

A spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that a criminal complaint has been made to the French Prosecution Department today.

“The complaint concerns the taking of photographs of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge whilst on holiday and the publication of those photographs in breach of their privacy.”

Chi Prints Larger Photo Spread

The legal action comes as Italian gossip magazine Chi pressed ahead and published a 26-page spread of topless photos of Kate despite the legal action on behalf of the couple in France.

Now the complaint is made, it is up to the French prosecutor to investigate and possibly bring charges over the notorious images published last week in Closer magazine.

Closer is published by the Mondadori media group which also brings out Chi.

Woman Goes Into Hiding After Claims Made that She was The Photographer

A female photographer was reportedly in hiding today after claims she may have taken the pictures of the couple.

Valerie Suau, an experienced freelancer who has worked for some of the biggest news agencies in Europe, will be named in evidence presented to a French judge – although she denies producing anything “explicit”.

Ms Suau has admitted taking pictures of a scantily clad Prince William and Kate on the terrace of a £15million holiday retreat owned by Viscount Linley, the Queen’s nephew.

However, she claims to have had nothing to do with images which were taken on the same day – September 7th – at Chateau d’Autet, in the Provence countryside east of Avignon, showing Kate topless, and exposing her bottom.

Legal Ramifications

Closer’s editor and the photographer could face a year in prison.

There will also be an application for a fine, a prominent apology, and an attempt to have further distribution of the images stopped.
