Jolie and Pitt keen to expand family

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning for baby number seven.

The Hollywood power couple have apparently decided that now is the right time to add to their brood after time spent with their family over Christmas.

The couple are said to be keen to adopt, like they did with 12-year-old Maddox, Pax, 10, and Zahara, nine. They also have biological children Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

“Angelina and Brad have spent much of the festive period discussing extending their family. They’ve been open with the children about it and they are all excited at the prospect,” a source close to the family revealed to British magazine Grazia.

Pitt, 50, and 38-year-old Jolie dedicate a lot of their time to charity work in Africa.

Daughter Zahara was born in Ethiopia and they’re currently building an AIDS clinic there in her name, donating $2 million to get the project started.

“They have always wanted Zahara to have a sibling who shares her African heritage. Ideally they’d like a little girl aged between two and three.

“There is likely to be a visit to Ethiopia in the next few months to check on the proceedings at the clinic. But they will visit orphanages at the same time. They hope to have everything in place to go ahead with the adoption around April,” the source added.

Jolie has spoken openly in the past about the joy Pitt and her children have brought her.

The couple announced their engagement in 2012 but are yet to set a date to tie the knot.

“Brad has expanded my life in ways I never imagined. We built a family. He is not just the love of my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear.

“I suppose what I’ve learned from Brad is to be able to have the kind of family whose happiness and well-being comes before your own,” Jolie previously told the US edition of Marie Claire magazine.
