Is Robert Pattison Dior’s New Face?

E! News has announced that Robert Pattinson will feature as the latest face of Dior Homme fragrances in a new advertising campaign reported to be worth $12 million.

According to sources close to the star, Pattinson has signed a deal to front the Dior Homme Fragrences for the Paris luxury brand.

Twenty-six-year-old Pattinson will feature in a print and film advertising campaign for the famous label, which was established by designer Christian Dior in 1946. The star of the Twilight saga is already reportedly worth $64 million, according to a Sunday Times estimate in April 2012.

Under the deal, British-born Pattinson would star in a series of ad campaigns for the French fashion house, which did not return calls for confirmation.

Pattinson apparently likes Dior’s clothes, having been seen in a Dior Homme tux at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and in jeans at the Teen Choice Awards.

Like many fashion-house titans, Dior likes to hire movie stars to sell its products, including Jude Law, Charlize Theron and Natalie Portman.

Does this mean that current face of the brand, Jude Law, is out of a job? Details are unclear, and as yet there has been no official statement from Dior, which has not responded to requests for comment.
