Head Like A Hole head on tour

The times of raucous gigs with frontman Booga Beazley performing in the nude might be a thing of the past, but Head Like A Hole are fierce as ever.

This August the band which rose to fame in the 90s with songs like Fish Across Face, Wet Rubber and their cover of Bruce Springsteen’s I’m on Fire, are heading on a six-date tour.

After breaking up in 2000, HLAH reformed in 2009 with new drummer Mike Franklin-Browne, and has released its first studio album since 1998, Blood Will out in 2011.

Having recently enlisted new bass player Simon Nicholls, HLAH have been working hard on new material in preparation for a new album release late 2013.

The band last performed after being hand selected to support Aerosmith at their stadium concert in Dunedin (HLAH played a blistering set even though guitarist Nigel Regan had just been diagnosed with pleurisy and pneumonia!)
