Feds: Man sets fire to nuclear sub to get off work early

At some point, we’ve all had days we wanted to leave work early. But no matter how desperate we are to duck out, most of us do not set fire to our offices. In the case of 24-year-old Casey James Fury, his office is the USS Miami, a nuclear submarine based at the Portsmouth (Maine) Naval Shipyard. On May 23, Fury allegedly set fire to the sub because his “anxiety started getting really bad” and he wanted to leave work early. On June 16, Fury allegedly set another fire because he got anxious after having an argument via text with his girlfriend when he learned she was dating someone new.
